New Tattoo

Thought I'd show you the latest addition to my tattoo collection.

I had this rose done a couple of weeks ago now and I have to say it was the most painful one yet.
The part of my leg nearest the calf hurt the most. It hurt more than when I had my feet tattooed.

But the pain was well worth it as I now have a beautiful rose tattoo on my leg.

If you would like to know more about my tattoo collection let me know in the comments and I'll do a post about them. Any questions put them in the comments too :-)

Red Hair Dye and problems

Over recent years I have varied the colour of my hair somewhat. From red streaks, purple underneath, plum colour all over etc, but one colour I never tried all over was red.

So recently I bleached my hair to a beautiful orange yellow colour and then dyed it red.
As you can see from the picture I did indeed go red, however........

I used La Riche Directions temporary dye in Rubine, which is only a couple of quid a tub and lasts ages.

I have used other colours in this brand before (great if you want to try a colour first to see if you like it) but I have to say this one was crap.

I rinsed it well and woke up the next morning pink from the neck up not a great look when you have to go to work in an hour and it was a bugger to shift. I though ok maybe I didn't rinse it as well as I thought, so once I got back from work (during which my hands turned pink from touching my hair) I washed my hair with shampoo which normally sorts the problem out.

But oh no by washing my hair I had inadvertently turned my bath shower and walls pink as well as a big chunk of my neck. For some reason this dyes everything even the sink which I've never had a permanent dye do. I had to bleach my whole bathroom.

I still had the same problem the next day waking up with pink ears and neck. I washed my hair again and redyed my bath, by this time I'd had enough and washed my hair with head and shoulders which strips dye out of your hair quite well. I dried my hair to find I now had nearly neon pink hair, not a great look for work so later that evening I went back to my usual live XXL purple dye and XXL red fringe.

I don't know if it's because it was a red dye as I've not had this much trouble with the plum shade (although that did dye my bath too) but this red dye was just a pain.

I do prefer permanent dyes as they are less messy and I don't wake up pink in the morning.

I loved the red colour but I'm going to leave my hair alone for a bit so it can recover from the bleaching and repeated dying.

Have you had the same problems I did?

My New Plugs

Here's a video I made about the latest plugs I bought.

I wanted to try out different materials other than acrylic (which is not the best thing for your ears) so I bought some glass plugs and stainless steel plugs (most of my plug collection is now stainless steel).
The glass ones are super comfy to wear and ideal if you suffer from metal allergies.
